Pet Travel from Barbados

Every Country will have their own Import Documents and Requirements needed prior to travel so we encourage you to do some digging.

At the minimum, you will need to:

  1. Add your pet to your airline ticket - Call the Airline directly. Have your Ticket Locator Number handy.

  2. Acquire a local Veterinary Certificate - Any Vet in Barbados offers this. Prices vary, but are generally range from $100-120 BDS.

  3. Contact the Ministry of Agriculture's Vet Services Department by Phone or Email for an Export Permit (approx. $30 BDS).
    Please bring the required veterinary certificate with you to your appointment 2 to 3 days prior to travel.
